Hey you! Yeah you, that's right, I can see you there. Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you for visiting my blog. Here you can find great YouTube videos I find, read about cool things that happen to me, or sift through some of my random rants. You will also find details on the random programs or games I am making as long as they don't have to do with JrNet. That's the JrNet Blog's job.
Huh, you actually made it here? You cared enough to read more of this intro? Really, wow! I must really be more interesting than I thought. What's that you say? You were expecting something here! Oh, I'm sorry if I disappointed you but I have nothing else to say. Be sure to check back later, I may think of something :)
If you hadn’t known I am a huge fan of Sony and of course their PS3. The problem is I’ve always wanted a PS3 but couldn’t afford it myself(I am NOT saying its overpriced! I’m just too lazy to get a job =P) So I have been subtly hinting to my parents almost all year that I would love to get one for Christmas and then just blatantly saying that I want a PLAYSTATION 3 and nothing else over and over again until the message went through their skulls.
My parents did eventually get the message and last Sunday my dad brought me to Walmart and let me choose out my PS3 and some games! I got the standard 80GB PS3 with Call of Duty 5, Little Big Planet, SOCOM: Confrontation, and the official Bluetooth headset. Of course I also got a second controller so I wouldn’t have to fight with my brother about who gets to play(I would win anyway )
Now the problem is that I can’t open my stuff till Christmas and Christmas is taking too long to come… =(
I had my birthday party today(even tho its a bit early for that) and soon we will be hitting Christmas and New Years. This holiday season will be just like the others, filled with lots of stuff.
I’m definitely not waiting at all to spend my birthday money, I’ve needed a new laptop battery ever since I bought this laptop that I’m writing this post on. It just never held a charge, so a new battery is the first thing I’m buying.
Then I hold off buying anything ’till Christmas when I’m expecting to get a PS3. Then I’ll buy some games(mostly from the PS Store) with my money and the new PS3 Bluetooth Headset.(If I don’t get Little Big Planet for Christmas with the PS3, thats the first game I’m getting) Whatever’s left over is gonna have to be able to last all of 2009 =P.
Well I’ve done alot with Armagetron since my last post. I made a few more servers(one actually launching today) and more importantly I left DD and made my own clan.Because I’m absolutely awful at making up names the name for my new clan is FRO clan =P.
The clan started some time in October and it already has 9 other members, I make it 10.
I have a web site set up for it at froclan.co.nr which redirects to froclan.osvaldojr.com. You can check it out if you like.
On to the new servers. I have a clone of AfroTHUNDER! up as a practice server where only clan members can play, and another server where shooting is enabled and the view is stuck to first person. In this server there are no tails and extremely high rubber, the only way to die is to get shot. That server is called FRO>First Person Shooter.
My newest server that I am releasing today was a team effort between a fellow FRO member, clover, and I. It is the AfroTHUNDER! server but with a nano twist. Lower rubber, lower speeds, smaller map, no bomb. It will be called Cloverfield-miniFRO
I made my own Armagetron Advanced server! Its called AfroTHUNDER!(lol just like the blog) and its really cool. I’m constantly working on it and any suggestions are welcomed. Be sure to check it out the next time you are playing tron
I am absolutely hooked on the game Armagetron Advanced. Armagetron is an open-source tron game for Windows, Mac, and Linux(Yay!) For those who don’t know what a tron game is, it is a game where you control a lightcycle. When you move a tail comes from the back of your lightcycle and your task is to make other players crash into that tail without crashing yourself. Read the rest of this entry »
