Well I’ve done alot with Armagetron since my last post. I made a few more servers(one actually launching today) and more importantly I left DD and made my own clan.Because I’m absolutely awful at making up names the name for my new clan is FRO clan =P.
The clan started some time in October and it already has 9 other members, I make it 10.
I have a web site set up for it at froclan.co.nr which redirects to froclan.osvaldojr.com. You can check it out if you like.
On to the new servers. I have a clone of AfroTHUNDER! up as a practice server where only clan members can play, and another server where shooting is enabled and the view is stuck to first person. In this server there are no tails and extremely high rubber, the only way to die is to get shot. That server is called FRO>First Person Shooter.
My newest server that I am releasing today was a team effort between a fellow FRO member, clover, and I. It is the AfroTHUNDER! server but with a nano twist. Lower rubber, lower speeds, smaller map, no bomb. It will be called Cloverfield-miniFRO
I made my own Armagetron Advanced server! Its called AfroTHUNDER!(lol just like the blog) and its really cool. I’m constantly working on it and any suggestions are welcomed. Be sure to check it out the next time you are playing tron
Well, its my first day of high school today. Wow, am I up early. Actually I was up early before(just because I liked to) but that wasn’t for a while ago(last school year). I think I’m going to post again when I get back on how my day went. That article should be here anywhere from 2 to 3 o’clock. However, I am known to procrastinate so…
It took a while but I’ve gotten my Windows XPÂ to look just like Vista! It has everything from transparency to to the new menu and the 3D window flipping. I used the Vista Transformation Pack to do the transformation, but I hit a few problems and had to redo some things manually(I still don’t have the bootscreen working right) but overall I’m happy with the result.(I even have the sidebar it’s just not in the picture because I closed it.)
I am absolutely hooked on the game Armagetron Advanced. Armagetron is an open-source tron game for Windows, Mac, and Linux(Yay!) For those who don’t know what a tron game is, it is a game where you control a lightcycle. When you move a tail comes from the back of your lightcycle and your task is to make other players crash into that tail without crashing yourself. Read the rest of this entry »
Well today I finished setting up my mini-itx PC. While it’s not the most powerful computer (798MHz) it sure gets the job done. It would get even more of the job done if I could get the video card to get acceleration in linux though Read the rest of this entry »
